Right from its first year, MRPS School has had a PTA with its own laws and bye-laws. A President and a Vice President are elected from among the parents of students who assemble on a convenient day at the school in June every year. There is also a PTA Governing Body which meets at frequent intervals to take stock of emerging situations that call for quick response. Two staff members as well as the School Principal are ex-officio members of the PTA. The office bearers of the Association are usually elected for a year but can be re-elected for a second year.
