Annual Report 2023 – 2024

We prioritize both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Our examination and evaluation system includes assignments, unit tests, and term examinations.

It is said in the scripture that ‘A tree is known by its fruit’. The collective perseverance, dedication, and hard work of our students and faculty bore fruit in the Grade 10 and 12 CBSE board examinations.

Maintaining our legacy of a cent percent pass rate, we are proud to share that out of the 133 students who appeared for the board exams, 66 students achieved distinctions, while the remaining secured a well-deserved first class.

The Grade 10 topper, Master Noyel Bijoy Joseph, who secured 96.2%, and Grade 12 topper, Master Joseph P. George, who secured 97%, along with the subject toppers and A1 holders, were honoured on the Merit Day 'Prathiba Sangamam,' conducted on June 17, 2023.

The student office bearers took the oath of office in a solemn yet colourful Investiture Ceremony held on August 8, 2023.

The Cultural Fest, Exuberance 2023, showcased remarkable talents and hard work by students, drawing enthusiastic participation from parents and teachers alike.

Reading Day, celebrated on June 19th, 2023, served as a reminder to students that “Today's Reader is Tomorrow's Leader”.

International Yoga Day, celebrated on June 21st, 2023, reminded students that “Health is Wealth”.

National festivals and observances such as Independence Day, Onam, Teachers' Day, Kerala Piravi, and Children’s Day were celebrated to instill their significance in students.

The Annual Sports Day was held on October 21, 2023, promoting sportsmanship and unity.

Students also excelled in zonal and inter-school competitions. Master Arnold Santhosh and Master Noel Joseph of Grade 9 secured First Prize in various interschool quiz competitions across the region.

Our school emerged as Runners-up in the Under-19 Football Tournament organized by Kottayam Sahodaya.

We brought glory home by winning laurels at ‘Bhavyam 2023’, the Kottayam Sahodaya interschool competition.

The school remains committed to instilling values, core skills, and holistic development through platforms such as KCSL and DCL. Our students bagged the overall trophy in the KCSL competitions.

Our curriculum was enriched by field trips and charity visits, including screenings like Sr. Rani Maria’s biopic “Face of the Faceless”.

We initiated the charity drive “Each One Feed One” to foster a culture of giving among students and staff.

Mary Rani FM 93.6, our campus radio, continues to provide students with a creative platform to present news and programs daily.

In the kindergarten section, ‘Angels Nest’, various activities like Vegetable Day, Colouring Day, and ‘Talent Sparkle’ Kids Fest helped tiny tots learn joyfully. They won prizes in English Action Song and Cultural Dance competitions at inter-school fests.

Our teachers underwent regular CBSE workshops and training, staying updated with new methodologies.

We provide regular assessments and counselling sessions to ensure students’ emotional and academic well-being.

As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.” We thank the Management, staff, students, and parents for their unwavering support.

May God continue to bless Mary Rani Public School and guide us in moulding future leaders with values, wisdom, and global competence.

Thank you.
