ANNUAL REPORT 2023 – 2024
We prioritize both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Our examination and evaluation system includes assignments, unit tests, and term examinations.
It is said in the scripture that ‘A tree is known by its fruit’. The collective perseverance, dedication, and hard work of our students and faculty, bore fruit, in the Grade 10 and 12 CBSE board examinations.
Maintaining our legacy of a cent percent pass rate, we are proud to share, that out of the 133 students who appeared for the board exams 66 students achieved distinctions, while the remaining secured a well-deserved first class.
The Grade 10 topper, Master Noyel Bijoy Joseph, who secured 96.2%, and Grade 12 topper, Master Joseph P. George, who secured 97%, along with the subject toppers and A1 holders, were honoured on the Merit Day 'Prathiba Sangamam,' conducted on June 17, 2023. It was a proud moment, as both the students and their parents stepped onto the stage to jointly receive the trophy.
The student office bearers took the oath of office in a solemn, yet colourful Investiture Ceremony, held on August 8, 2023.
The Cultural Fest, Exuberance 2023, witnessed a remarkable display of talents and prowess by students representing their houses. The event showcased, a marvellous exhibition of talents, determination, and hard work, and was witnessed by students, parents, and teachers alike.
Reading Day, celebrated on June 19th, 2023, served as a reminder to students that ‘’Today's Reader is Tomorrow's Leader’
International Yoga Day, celebrated on June 21st, 2023, served as a reminder to students that "Health is Wealth."
Independence Day, Onam, Teachers' Day, Kerala Piravi, and Children’s Day were all celebrated within the school, serving as reminders to children about the importance of each day and the reasons behind these celebrations.
The Annual Sports Day was held on 21st October,2023.
An academic year becomes more exciting and fruitful when, in addition to academic excellence, students showcase their prowess in zonal, inter-school and district-level competitions.
Master Arnold Santhosh and Master Noel Joseph, of Grade 9 secured the First Prize in the Interschool Quiz Competitions held at Kanjirappally, Changnacherry and Thiruvalla.
Our school achieved the Runners-up Championship in the Kottayam Sahodaya / Inter-School / Under-19 Football Tournament.
Our students brought honour to our school by excelling in the Kottayam Sahodaya Interschool competitions, ‘Bhavyam 2023’ adding feathers to our cap.
A firm underlying philosophy of the school / is to provide rigorous scholastic training to our students, along with rich tradition, core values and essential skills needed for them / to succeed in life.
The KCSL and DCL units play a crucial role / in helping students instill values such as faith, truth, and moral consciousness. They provide a platform for children to participate in discussions, fostering an environment where learning is encouraged through interaction with one another.
Our students excelled by securing the overall trophy in the KCSL competitions. Additionally, they achieved success by winning prizes and certificates in various competitions held on different occasions, both in the KCSL and DCL respectively.
As part of the curriculum, field trips and visits were organized, including trips to orphanages, and a screening of Sr. Rani Maria's biographical movie "Face of the Faceless."
A charity drive, "Each One Feed One," has been initiated every first Friday of the month among both students and staff as a social obligation to society.
Mary Rani FM 93.6 functions every day during the noon lunch break, providing a platform for students to present news and programs while fostering motivation.
In addition to the main school, a plethora of activities unfolds in the Tiny Tots Wonderland, our kindergarten ‘Angels Nest’.
We firmly believe that every child in the kindergarten possesses immense potential, capable of achieving wonders. Aligned with progressive educational concepts, we follow a dynamic syllabus that adapts to evolving needs and changes. Children at our kindergarten experience innovative learning in a joyful and positive atmosphere. Engaging in fun-filled activities, they work on enhancing both their physical and intellectual abilities. Various events, such as Vegetable Day, Colouring Day, and the 'Talent Sparkle' Kids Fest, were conducted, and the children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Our little ones filled us with pride by securing the second position in group items for the English Action Song in the Junior KG category and the Cultural Dance in the Senior KG category, respectively, at the Inter-School Kids Fest.
Our faculty actively participated in CBSE-organized workshops and training programs, ensuring they stay updated in the field of education.
We conduct assessments for learning disabilities / and provide regular counseling / and mentoring sessions / facilitated by trained professionals. These efforts / aim to ensure / the holistic well-being / of our students, covering essential life skills, academic guidance, and emotional support.
I conclude this annual report with the wisdom from Proverbs Chapter 22, Verse 6: "Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray."
My heartfelt thanks to our Management, staff, students, and parents for their unwavering support. Gratitude to our Creator for the grace and mercy bestowed upon us. Mary Rani Public School, blending tradition and compassion, prepares students for future challenges, empowering them to compete globally. Our goal is to shape them into future leaders with innovative thinking and exemplary manners.
